My name's Aidan and I'm a fifty-something teacher of languages in the east of England. When I'm not teaching teenage lads to speak Spanish, my hobby is portrait photography. I hope you'll like looking at some of what I've been privileged to produce over the years.
I've used various cameras over the years, from the first digital ones to some efficient Minoltas and now the Nikon D750 full-frame camera with Nikon and Samyang prime lenses (24mm, 50mm, 85mm and 135mm) as well as the Sigma 70mm-200mm and 150mm-500mm for sport.
School-based sports photography takes us a lot of my time and my school house blog has gone past 250,000 hits; however, my latest project is The Wall, an ordinary wall by a Bedford car park which serves as the backdrop to my open-air studio. Many people of all ages, nationalities and walks of life have stopped to be photographed. Watch out 'Faces of New York' - the Bus Station Strikes Back!
